Morina Martin

Morina Martin is a middle school English teacher at Christian Academy. 

Morina has a BS in English from Liberty University with a minor in philosophy and a Bachelor's degree in Divinity from Heythrop College, University of London. She is currently pursuing a MA in church history from Liberty Univeraity. 

She began teaching ELA in Glen Burnie, Maryland in 1999. In 2021, she moved to Loris, SC, where she began teaching in Christian Schools in the Myrtle Beach area. She has been teaching for 27 years, and this being her 17th at CA.

Morina was awarded teacher of the year in 2020 and was also awarded SCISA master teacher in 2020. Morina used to lead tours in Europe, so American students could educationally learn other cultures. She is also a devout fan of C.S. Lewis. 

Morina is married to Gregory, and they enjoy serving together at their church, Waterbook Community Church. 

One thing she loves about Christian Academy is the people she works with. 

Her favorite Bible verse is Habakkuk 3:2.
