Nancy Henry

Nancy Henry is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a B.A. degree in Elementary Education, with an additional endorsement in Early Childhood education.  She has a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from University of South Carolina.  She is certified in both teaching and school administration through the State Department of Education.  In addition, she has lifetime certification as a K-12 administrator through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).  Nancy has been involved with Christian Academy in a variety of ways over the past 25 years, serving in the early years as Board of Trustees Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Education Committee Chairman, as well as serving on various committees.  In the more recent years, she has served in school administration.

Nancy began her teaching career as a first-grade teacher and continued her professional life as an Adjunct Instructor in the School of Education at Coastal Carolina University, working closely with student teachers and high school students in the Teacher Cadet program.  

Nancy has been married to Patrick for almost 33 years. They have two children, Patrick Charles (PC) and Kendall.  PC is a graduate of Christian Academy and Erskine College.  He currently serves as Christian Academy's Athletic Director. Kendall is also a graduate of Christian Academy. Kendall and his wife, Kayci are both graduates of Anderson University. Kendall and Kayci have Nancy's first grandchild, Asher Grace, recently celebrated her first birthday.  Nancy considers it a great blessing to serve students and families within a school that seeks to fuse faith with learning. She also enjoys the arts and is an avid sports fan, enjoying both Saints and Demon Deacon athletics!!
