Mrs. Williams has a B.S. in Marine Science with minors in Biology and Psychology from Coastal Carolina University.  After graduation, she spent 10 years working in the marine science field.  She worked at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Museum at their Rescue & Rehabilitation Center, Sea World Orlando, and Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach.  Her jobs included everything from rehabilitating seals and manatees, training dolphins and sea turtles, and lots of food prep and cleaning tanks.  After sustaining an injury, she returned to Coastal to earn her Master’s degree in Teaching with an emphasis in Secondary Science Education.  She taught in public schools before taking some time off after her daughter was born.

Mrs. Williams is passionate about being creative in her spare time. She does cross-stitch, makes scrap books, takes photography classes, and travels for inspiration and relaxation. If she’s not traveling to gymnastics meets with her daughter (who competes) and her husband Greg (also a teacher), she loves to embrace the nostalgia of Disney World (at the parks or on a Disney Cruise) or the rustic charm of Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

This is Mrs. Williams’ first experience teaching in a Christian school and she is excited to be able to share her faith and her love of science with her students.
